Objectives​

The client had an existing system to extract patient information, but no platform to display insights to clinicians.

The solution  needed to incorporate modern health-tech features such as patient search, role-based access control (RBAC), and data visualization. The solution needed to ensure enterprise-grade security, stability, and scalability as user load & demand increases in production environments. In order to stand out among this busy in-store environment Danze turned to EX Squared to design and create a kiosk application that assists in-store shoppers with choosing the right solutions for their homes.

Solutions

EX Squared developed a comprehensive AI web app using the MERN stack that enables advanced search while ensuring role-based secure access to sensitive data.

Designed interactive data visualization of clinical insights with charts & dashboards.​​

Deployed in a Kubernetes cluster for enterprise stability, security & scalability.

Implemented cloud ML Ops to streamline the deployment and management of AI models.

Built an advanced AI document parser to answer clinicians’ questions, with source citation pointers and chat context persistence for asking followup questions.

Built a retrieval augmented generation pipeline with GPT and a variety of vector DB customer options including Weaviate, Elasticsearch and Azure Cognitive Search.

Enhanced the SaaS solution to be cloud-agnostic, allowing seamless deployment on each customer’s own cloud provider while still maintaining high performance and security/privacy for clinical records.

Results

EX Squared developed a cloud-independent, secure application built with advanced capabilities for the future, helping this healthcare startup meet compliance requirements and expand their market presence.
